Walter Ballmer is a graphic designer best known for his work for Olivetti, an Italian manufacturer of typewriters, computers, and other office products. He brought modernism and innovation that helped shape design in the 1950s. He is an amazing representation of Swiss Design.
Ideation phase
Most of Ballmer’s posters for Olivetti are typographic. I aimed for smooth animation on the text, with transitions that are quick and accentuated by sound effects. The animations are soft and simple so that the viewer can focus on the posters.
